Please note that our normal meeting location for the February COC meeting at Augusta Health is being renovated and not available for us to use for the meeting. Thus, the February COC meeting will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro, Virginia. The church is located on the corner of 11th Street and Wayne Avenue in the downtown area of Waynesboro. It is not far from our normal meeting location, roughly 7 miles away. The church address is:

The February Council of Chiefs meeting will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 4, 2012 and will conclude no later than 4:00 pm. Lunch will be provided. A draft meeting agenda will be circulated very soon. Lodges are welcome to bring as many people as they would like to the meeting but Lodge Key 3s, Conclave Vice Chiefs and their Advisers, Service Lodge personnel, and Section Officers and their Advisers should plan to be in attendance.
Anyone planning to run for Preston Marquis' unexpired term as section chief (due to his election to National Vice Chief) is reminded that they must be under the age of 21 through April 29, 2012 and must obtain a letter from their Scout Executive (or designee) granting them permission to run for section office. This letter should be submitted to Section Adviser Mike White by the start of the February COC meeting on February 4.
