| The Nation's largest Section. The Regional realignment concept of 6 Regions placed Virginia in the Southeast Region. Lodges of the new SE1 were: 3, 12, 20, 161 (merger of 161 & 456), 258, 276, 317, 349, 463, 470, 483, and 540. | ||

| Again the Regional alignment resulted in a split and a renumbering of Sections. The Virginia Lodges 3, 161, 258, 276, 349, 463, and 483 remained as SE8. The Lodges 12, 20, 317, 470, & 540 were shifted to the NE Region and became NE5. | ||

| The shift of the national organization again mandated a shuffle. Although the change was intended to occur prior to the 1993 Conclave, special dispensation was granted to retain the SE7 and SE8 alignment until after the Conclaves. | ||
