The Council of Chiefs

The Counicl of Chiefs provides the planning guidance for the annual section conclave. The group is made up of the Section Chief, Section Vice-Chief, Section Secretary, Immediate Past Section Chief, the Lodge Chiefs from each Council in the section as well as appointed Arrowmen who serve as Conclave Vice Chiefs who provide specific leadership to the various areas of each Conclave.

The Section Adviser, as well as his Associates, and Staff Adviser, along with the Lodge Advisers and their Scout Executive (or designee) also serve in advisory positions only.

Each year the COC gathers on the first Saturday of October and February to discuss the upcoming Conclave plans. In addition, the COC meets to discuss last minute items during the course of the Conclave.

For 2010-2011 the scheduled COC meetings will be on:
October 2, 2010 at Camp T. Brady Saunders, Goochland, VA
February 5, 2011 at the Augusta Medical Center, Fishersville, VA
