|
I would like to welcome you to the SR-7A website. This website is intended to be a resource to every Brother with in our section, and used as your first stop when seeking information about the Order of the Arrow and activities around the Section. I hope you will return to see the many updates planned for this website in the future, and I know this website will become a tool for use in your own development in the Order and the development of your fellow Arrowmen. | October 15-17 our section will be continuing the OA legacy to the George Washington Jefferson National Forrest by conducting trail building activities. This follow up will build upon the progress already established by our past weekends and the 2008 ArrowCorps 5 project. The strategic goal for our trail crew initiative is to finish the trail within the next year, assuming we have strong participation from our lodges. I can already tell you that we are eyeing a potential 2011 spring and fall event in order to meet this objective. But we need your assistance in promoting this event back home in order to make it a success. |

| The National Leadership Seminar (NLS) is a weekend conference focusing on the skills and characteristics of leadership. It is intended primarily to enhance the leadership skills of the Order of the Arrow’s key youth and adult members, as they seek to improve their service to the Boy Scouts of America and the greater community. |

| The National Lodge Adviser Training Seminar (NLATS) is a weekend conference focusing on the skills and attributes of effective lodge advisers. It is intended primarily to enhance an adviser's knowledge of and connectivity with the OA's strategic plan, program and resources, while emphasizing personal skills that are essential to the development of effective youth leadership and ultimately the OA's service to the council. |
