Section 7A encompasses the majority of Virginia, three counties of West Virginia, and part the eastern portion of North Carolina with council cities in Richmond, Roanoke, Waynesboro, Winchester, Newport News, and Virginia Beach.

ArrowCorps 5 is probably the best opportunity and the most anticipated event that the OA will offer. In 2008, the Order of the Arrow will be partnered with the US National Forest Service to bring youth and adults to five major national forests across the US. We have named the event ArrowCorps 5, because we are bringing 5000 Arrowmen to five different national forests, at five different weeks. The five forests are in different regions across the US, including the Thomas Jefferson/George Washington National Forest in Virginia, which is in the Southern Region. Each week will consist of different service projects that each site is in desperate need of. All together, we will be saving the US Forest Service about $5 million in service and will have contributed over 250,000 man-hours in the course of two months. From 1985-2000, the US Forest Service reported 225,000 man-hours contributed in the course of 15 years: we will be offering the same amount of service in two months. This event is unlike any event put on by the Boy Scouts of America, and this event will be the most historic service project ever put on by the Boy Scouts, and what better men to choose to do this event than the Order of the Arrow.
